Projects

Projects change with the seasons and the individual needs of the people.Listed below are some of the ongoing projects
while others are completed on an as needed basis.

House Building & Home Repair
Repairing homes and fences for the poor and elderly
Frequency: as funds are acquired

House Building

When the funds to build a house are collected we work with the pastors to find a family in need of housing. The family does not have to be a Christian to obtain this blessing, but to be in need. The family must own the land or be making regular payments on the land before we build the home. We constanly communicate with the family and neighbors that the blessing they are receiving is from God and, if they are not belieives, share the Gospel message with them. We also advise them of the pastor and church located nearest to them. A Bible is presented to them when we give them the keys to their new home. Usually some of the exterior work and the interior finishing of the house are done by members of the family.

Home Repair

Medical Assistance.

Provide non-prescription vitamins to pastors, especially for children, for the distribution to people in the community.

Visiting the men in prison on Fridays (when possible) providing clothing and shoes. Fellowship consists of Bible readings, testamonies, singing and sharing of bread and lemonaid. Blankets were provided for all prisoners (over 300) in the fall of 2006.

Prison Medical Assistance

Please contact Manos de Dios if you have books in Spanish to donate or would like to make a financial donation.
